Roma received a 0-1 defeat in their trip to Bologna's field in round 15 of Serie A this morning.

After 3 consecutive victories on all fronts, Roma returned to a deadlocked game, lacking ideas. The army of coach Jose Mourinho launched 13 shots, more than 2 times more than the opponent but still had to receive a 0-1 defeat. This defeat leaves Roma in 5th place with 25 points. They are 6 points behind Atalanta, 11 points behind Napoli at the top.

On the trip to Renato Dall'Ara Stadium, coach Mourinho carefully used a five-midfield formation because he understood the danger of Bologna's transition situations. "Giallorossi" owns the midfield and constantly puts the ball for Tammy Abraham. However, the former Chelsea player alone is not enough to make a difference in the face of the host's defenders.

Roma played quite well from the start but unexpectedly conceded a goal in the 35th minute. A momentary loss of concentration in midfield opened up space for Mattias Svanberg. The young Swedish star put his heart into technique from outside the penalty area, knocking down the entire Roma defense. On the sidelines, coach Mourinho expressed his dissatisfaction, especially the position of the "scanner" Amadou Diawara.

After the goal conceded, Mourinho's teachers and students turned to attack. After a few harmless long shots, the away team created a real storm towards the home goal. In the 42nd minute, goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski's excellent reflexes helped Bologna avoid a goal after Abraham's uncomfortable finish.

In the second half, Bologna continued to succeed in blocking Roma's strikers. At the top, midfield duo Svanberg and Nicolas Dominguez impressed with a series of situations to escape pressing to bring the ball up.

On the away side, the absence of captain Lorenzo Pellegrini made the attacking front of the betel nut team come to a standstill. Coach Mourinho threw Carles Perez into the field to share the fire with teammates, but the Spanish player's performance was encapsulated in the word "disappointment".

In the second half, Roma had only one good chance, a shot that was blocked by Abraham's goalkeeper in the 86th minute. The capital team accepted a 0-1 defeat and suffered another big loss in the next round against Inter when the money came. The main leader Abraham was not allowed to play because he had received enough penalty cards.
